FAQs

We conduct regular vulnerability scanning across our infrastructure and applications. An independent third party performs penetration testing at least annually. Critical and high-risk findings are tracked through to resolution with defined SLAs.
Yes. Cyviz maintains a documented Incident Response Plan that is tested periodically through tabletop exercises. Affected customers are notified promptly in accordance with our contractual obligations and applicable regulations. Lessons learned are documented and fed back into our security programme.
We enforce the principle of least privilege across all systems. Personnel are assigned unique access IDs, and multi-factor authentication is required for access to production environments. Access reviews are conducted regularly, and access is revoked promptly upon role changes or termination.
Background checks are performed on all new hires in accordance with local laws. All personnel complete security awareness training upon onboarding and annually thereafter. Personnel handling classified or sensitive environments undergo additional vetting as required by the relevant authority.
Yes. Cyviz maintains a formal Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan that is tested periodically. Automated backups are performed and backup restoration is validated at least annually to ensure data integrity and availability.
All vendors are assessed in accordance with our Vendor Risk Management Policy before engagement. SOC 2 reports or equivalent assurance documentation are collected and reviewed at least annually. Our current subprocessors are listed in the Subprocessors section of this Trust Center.
Yes. Cyviz solutions are specifically designed for multi-classification environments, supporting role-based access and data segregation for sensitive and classified operations. Our technology is deployed in over 1,500 control rooms and operations centres globally, including NATO-aligned defence environments.

Security monitoring and incident detection services, including analysis of security alerts and logs for the purpose of detecting and responding to security incidents.

Data location: Data is stored and processed in Norway within the European Economic Area (EEA).

Microsoft

Cloud infrastructure and productivity services used for email, collaboration, identity, and business operations, including hosting and processing of personal data within Microsoft cloud environments.

Data location: Data is stored and processed within the European Union for EU‑based tenants. Microsoft operates regional data centres and, under its EU Data Boundary commitments, customer data for core Microsoft cloud services is stored at rest within the EU. Limited data transfers outside the EU may occur for service operation, security, and support purposes in accordance with contractual and regulatory safeguards.

Notion

Internal documentation and knowledge‑management platform used to store internal policies, procedures, and operational documentation. The platform may contain limited personal data related to employees and internal operations.

Data location: Data is hosted on Amazon Web Services. Workspace data is stored in the United States. Certain account and usage metadata may be processed outside the primary data location.

Linear

Issue tracking and workflow management used to record, manage, and audit internal IT, security, and compliance activities, including limited personal data related to users and request handling.

Data location: Workspace data is hosted in the European Union or the United States depending on the region selected at workspace creation. Most workspace content is stored in the selected region. Certain account, authentication, and usage metadata is always processed in the United States, as documented by Linear.

Docusign

Electronic signature services used to execute and manage contracts and agreements, including processing of names, email addresses, and related signature metadata.

Data location: Agreement data and audit trails are stored in DocuSign data centers within the European Union for EU‑based accounts. Limited technical and transaction metadata may be processed globally as part of service operations.

House of Control

Contract management and compliance software used to manage contracts, obligations, and vendor relationships, including processing of contract data, supplier information, and related financial and compliance metadata.

Secure Development Policy
A Secure Development Policy defines the requirements for secure software and system development and maintenance.
Segregation of Environments
Development, staging, and production environments are segregated.
Change Management Policy
A Change Management Policy governs the documenting, tracking, testing, and approving of system, network, security, and infrastructure changes.
Production Data Use is Restricted
Production data is not used in the development and testing environments, unless required for debugging customer issues.

Availability

Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Policy
Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Policy governs required processes for restoring the service or supporting infrastructure after suffering a disaster or disruption.
Backup Restoration Testing
Backed-up data is restored to a non-production environment at least annually to validate the integrity of backups.
Testing the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan
The Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan is periodically tested via tabletop exercises or equivalents. When necessary, Management makes changes to the Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan based on the test results.

Management is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the organization’s security policies and procedures. The policies and procedures are reviewed by management at least annually.
New Hire Screening
Hiring managers screen new hires or internal transfers to assess their qualifications, experience, and competency to fulfill their responsibilities. New hires sign confidentiality agreements or equivalents upon hire.
Disciplinary Action
Personnel who violate information security policies are subject to disciplinary action and such disciplinary action is clearly documented in one or more policies.
